In Part 2 of our first Q&A session, PHR founder Sarah answers questions from @chloe_oneill_equestrian, @jasperjumper_ and @olivia_jean_equestrian
Head over and follow these ladies if you haven't already!
Now, let's get stuck into it!

These great questions are very similar, so I'll answer them both at once. Thanks Chloe and Sarah for asking!
There were a few things really, but I'll just touch on the main ones here...
I really wanted to offer customers unique and individual apparel that stands out in the crowd. I wanted to provide riders the opportunity to express their personality through their riding attire. This is why all of our gear is designed by us, all the fabrics we use are selected by us. We DO NOT buy bulk quantities straight out of catalogues. This is how we stay unique and true to brand. We are also a bit rebellious, in that we don't follow trends!
The other main motivation was the frustration and disappointment at the lack of flattering equestrian wear for petite sizes, and the inability to find adult styles that FIT. Many smaller framed riders turn to children's sizes in their frustration, but children's riding apparel lacks the more mature shape and styling of ladies gear. As a smaller framed rider I have felt this frustration personally, so I was very keen to improve the availability of riding apparel in this end of the size range.
It wasn't just about the petite sizes though. I also felt a drive to provide customers of all shapes and sizes with options to achieve a more personalised fit to their apparel. This is why we offer a 'made to measure' service for our shirts, and our dressmakers make all sizes requested by our customers.
Hi Olivia, thanks for your question.
Some of our breeches have a slightly shorter length, depending on the style. As for our shirts, as I mentioned we offer made to measure services so we are able to customise shirts to the length required by the customer.
If you or anyone else out there would like to know more about this please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We'll be happy to help you :)
This is actually a really hard one to answer!
Due to the services we provide and the fact that we use local dressmakers, which is something we will continue to do, we need to grow carefully, within our limits.
But here are a few things I'd like to see happen within the next 5 years...
An expansion in the type of apparel we provide to include items other than just breeches and shirts,
Improve and expand our reach and relationships with our awesome customers,
I'm also very excited to see how our Team Rider Program develops, as it has become quite a large part of what we do and I love supporting and collaborating with great Aussie riders from all levels and backgrounds.
Thanks very much to everyone for the awesome questions! We'll be back with another Q&A session soon!
